We’re working with our clients The British Red Cross to media train their executives. Our brief is to create workshops and strategy sessions where BRC staff from across the globe can learn how to deal with every conceivable media scenario they may face.

As staffs from the BRC are bound by their values of impartiality, we are helping them find a different way to tell their story.

We are teaching our delegates how to recognise a great story and to tell it confidently; ditching the corporate speak and delivering compassionate, unique insight that will speak to the audience.

Our experience in global news allows us to provide our clients with in-depth interview training using current News Anchors to put them through their paces.
Our mobile studio provides the backdrop for training and our video and interactive coaching resources make sure the training has a lasting impact on our delegates.

To reinforce why it’s important to understand the inner working’s of the media, we created a film explaining how the British Red Cross is viewed by it’s supporters and why the charities sector may come under fire from the press.

Supporting diversity

Our finance clients wanted to supercharge their growing network of female leaders to communicate their mission and inspire their colleagues.

Working with their staff in both London and Stockholm we designed a series of workshops exploring the challenges of communication in the workplace.

With input from Diversity Consultant Jane Fordham, we created a blended, fast track course giving our delegates the best of our expertise in PR and Journalism, with actionable tips and tricks for telling their own stories, storytelling for business and busting myths on gendered communication styles. Mini interview training sessions and bespoke training materials were created to support this fledgling Women’s Network.

What our Clients Say

I spent 15 years working in Whitehall before coming to the British Red Cross and had been media trained on three occasions. This time, Julie’s training was hands down the best I’ve ever received. Her practical tips on how to prepare which match the process of working journalists was a real game changer in terms of how I now prepare for interviews. Julie and her team super charged my confidence and allowed my individuality to show. I’m not now trying to package my answers into neat little generic sound bites. I’m telling real stories that will hopefully resonate with the people we’re trying to reach.

I really enjoyed the Media Training you delivered. You somtimes don’t realise the power of the media and how difficult it can be, even when you are talking about your specialist subject. The training definitely helped me with my confidence, even though I feel pretty competent presenting, I always felt self conscious about how I come across in more of a conversational setting. So I’m very thankful for the feedback from my interview and having a  professionally shot interview talking about my passions has helped me share my mission.

We’re a team full of different brains and diverse backgrounds, and our differences are at the heart of what make us succesful. We’re very proud to have a large number of dyslexic folks within our ranks, and we believe this makes our company that little bit brighter, more inventive and more human. We hope to be part of the change that sees neurodiversity not as a threat but as a strength. Watch Now.
